Day 12 Mrs Tink’s 24 Days of Christmas

Today we have a combined Mrs Tink Reviews and Mrs Tink’s 24 Days of Christmas Giveaway, lots of goodness all rolled into one day!

Today I’m reviewing Kinetic Sand and although it’s for kids I have to say at 32 I’m extremely excited to play with this very cool product. I’ve been watching the adverts on TV for months and it looked so much fun that when it arrived I almost bumped Master 5 out of the way so I could try it first!

Kinetic Sand feels very much like I would expect quick sand to feel like, it has a very unique texture and it melts through your fingers and sticks to itself not to you so it’s not very messy which for mummy’s like me who cringe at the first sign of mess it’s a great product.
It’s seriously addictive to play with not only for little kids but for big kids too aka Mummy Tink!

Master 5 really enjoyed moulding and making mountains, faces & volcanos.
It kept him busy for 2 hours and I didn’t hear a peep from him other than him chatting to himself as he ‘baked’ a cake out of the sand. As anyone with little ones know it’s very hard to keep a 5 year old boy quiet for 2 minutes let alone 2 hours so as you can imagine I was extremely happy with this magic sand!

So to sum it up easily for you at home I’ve broken it done into 3 categories ; quality, look and price

Quality: I rated 5/5 Tinkles ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
Kinetic Sand doesn’t dry out which is great!
My little guy left it out overnight and it was still perfect in the morning even with this warm weather. Being a 5 year old he was quite rough and the sand well and truly held its own and was ready to play another day

Look: I rated 5/5 Tinkles ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
Kinetic Sand is perfect for boys and girls there are 3 lovely colours to choose from pink ( my fave) blue & green and also plain brown.
Master 5 enjoyed mixing all the colours together which created a big blue pile and he was in his element!

Price: : I rated 5/5 Tinkles ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
Very reasonable RRP $19.99 from the Kmart
Great Christmas gift idea and a safe option if your unsure what to buy a little person.

My most memorable one was a basketball, and hoop. It was the best, it was exactly what I wanted and mum, dad, my brother and I all played together – it was fun

Most definitely my favourite toy was my roller skates. All white lace ups with red wheels and stoppers. My ra ra skirt and my skates were my fashion in the 80’s. Look out Corio Rollerway!

Don’t recall having a favorite as loved everything, i do recall my least favorite . I always wanted a baby born doll when i was very little and one year for xmas i got a doll similar but not baby born as this doll only could eat not eat and ‘go to the toilet’ . Lol

Hmmm… A tough one. Oh I’ve got it!! The battery operated keyboard. Very basic and chunky compared to today’s versions but I was a musical genius as soon as I unwrapped it 🙂

We got our kids a trampoline and they both love it we didn’t hide the box to well so it endded up getting put up 3 weeks before Xmas but my little girl keeps asking for this sand for x mass 🙂

A Gogo ball! It was a ball that kind of resembled Saturn and you stood on the “ring” around the ball and jumped! It was the fad of the very early 90s. I got blisters on the insides of my feet, but it was so worth it!

This is kind of embarrassing but my fav present as a kid was ‘Black & White single by Micheal Jackson on cassette tape i spent hours in my grandmas garage dancing to it

My dad is a builder and built me my very own pink doll house! It was the best! I would have been around 8 when he made it? I am now 33 and now my little girl who is 4 has it. It has a little water damage and the colour was faded so we gave it a revamp and it still looks great after all these years!

It would have to be my Bridal doll. It was a beautiful tall doll with the most gorgeous wedding dress any little girl would dream of wearing when they married their Prince Charming! It took pride and place in my room on my dresser for many, many years.

My snot green boogie board!! I just loved it and I took it with me everywhere much to mums dismay, if I wasn’t in the ocean with it I would just sit or lie on it , even in my bedroom. I kept it for years until my cat clawed holes all through it (even then it took some convincing to part with it).
