I love making my brothers and my favourite, chocolate mousse. It’s always been a hit in our family although when I made it for my husbands family nobody ate it? I thought that was the strangest thing lol ohhhh well, more for us πŸ™‚

I am not a cook at all, but I do love doing some holiday baking at Christmas time! I love cooking up “Christmas Bark” which I just did this past weekend! πŸ˜› It’s the perfect holiday treat, sugary, buttery, dark chocolate and candy canes! Not my usual healthy, but its a must for Christmas time!!!

Not really ‘cooking’ but my family have a tradition of a salad made from apples, oranges, marshmallows, cream and cocconut. Its eaten with the savory not dessert…. always gets an odd look at first but is always the first bowl empty!!! Yummmy

It would have to be homemade shortbread. So easy to make and everyone loves them no matter what age. Have them with your favourite cuppa. Even Santa loves them too!

It has to be making the gingerbread house with my children! They love making the dough and rolling it out into the correct shapes, but the absolute best bit is decorating it and making it into a lolly masterpiece!! The best fun πŸ™‚

I would have to say my favourite would be roast pork. My husband insists on me ‘practicing’ cooking it through the year. I must say I have perfected the crackle. I still am anxious about my in laws coming for Christmas lunch as hubby has been raving about my roast pork. Aaahhhh!!!!! Will it crackle????? Only time will tell…. Now I’m off to check for oil and salt in the pantry. And to hide the scales.
