Everywhere I look at the moment I see all these amazing products that help push you to reach your fitness goals each new gadget offers something new and amazing all promising to have you fighting fit but I often think how many of them really work ? Recently I was introduced to a brand called Striiv – a name that’s hard not to love and impossible to forget. The beautiful team at Striiv sent me a few different products to try one of which was the Striiv Touch a fantastic pedometer band that counts your steps and so much more! As soon as my package arrived I was excited to get it out and put it to work to see just how much exercise I’ve doing each day on my challenge.

Upon reading the instruction I came to realise this clever little gadget was sooo much more than a pedometer it counts your calories burnt, kilometers and exercise not mention measures your sleep pattern PLUS it also notifies you of any messages, phone calls and facebook notifications that come through as you pound the pavement.

So to get started you need to pair up with your phone and charge which I have to say even I found simple and required no help from Master 5 who knows more about my iPhone than me! I already felt like I was winning!

After it was paired and charged I put it to work and replaced my watch with the Striiv touch.

On day 1 I became so obsessed with checking on all my steps I neglected to check facebook once… Amazing how you can quickly swap one obsession for another. At the end of my day I checked to see my final results and was surprised that despite having a job in an office all day I managed to do well over 6000 steps and beat the 30mins goal for exercise due to my PT at lunch time.

On Day 2 I quickly reached 4500 steps and decided to walk and pick up my lunch to get some extra steps in and come bedtime when Miss 8 months decided to throw a tanty because she was over tired I took pleasure in walking up and down the steps to re settle her even after the 14th time.

On Day 3 I started to feel competitive and wanted to beat the watch so I set myself a goal to walk around as I talked to clients on the phone and stretch my legs more. I surpassed all previous goals and did 70 mins of exercise and 6700 steps.

Day 4 I was convinced I was some sort of record breaking walking champion and decided to google the history of the pedometer and I quickly found out that the average household in Japan has 3 pedometers. The Japanese believe we need to be taking 10,000 steps a day!! I suddenly felt defeated, who on earth is able to do 10,000 steps a day? Before I had too much longer to ponder Miss 8 months pushes me with this challenge and from my bedtime resettles alone I kick butt with 7000 steps.

Day 5 I’m feeling perky again praising myself for giving it a go, high fiving myself and assuring myself I still have a touch of Rocky Balboa in me and press on. Today I reach 6800 and once again beat myself at 80 minutes of exercise.

Day 6 I’m beyond obsessed with this band I check it on average 30 times a day it’s officially taken over facebook who I’ve neglected for the last 4 days. I study the sleep function today and realise I’m getting a lot more sleep than I though averaging 8hrs… Who would of thought ?

Day 7 I’ve completed my review but by no means am I giving up my band I’m loving the competitive challenge it’s brought out in me, and start pushing Mr Tink to get one so we can ‘race’

So all in all I have to say this has been one of my favourite reviews yet, this band although small is extremely clever and very very simple to use it is light weight sleeping with it on was a breeze and the functions were fantastic.

Further Striiv TOUCH features include:
· Touch Screen
· 24/7 activity + sleep tracking
· Call, text and meeting notifications
· Ultra-slim measurements
· Ion-hardened glass
· Battery life up to 5 days
· Water resistant

So to sum it up easily for you at home I’ve broken it done in 3 categories ; quality, look and price

Quality: I rated 5/5 Tinkles ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
I wore it in the shower, training, to bed and even boxing! The Striiv Touch is well built and great quality.

Look: I rated 4/5Tinkles ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
Very simple very wearable.

Price: : I rated 4/5Tinkles ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
To be honest I didn’t investigate the competitors pricing but for the technology this band delivers I think RRP of $149.95 is certainly money well spent

The Striiv Team have given me not 1 but 2 Striiv Touch Pedometer’s to giveaway valued at $149.95 each!

To win all you need to do is share with us why you would like to try the STRIIV TOUCH ? – easy! We will choose our favourite answer and announce a winner Saturday the 14th of February at 5pm

Good luck x

I would like to win as a way of knowing just how hard I work when I train. But also as a way of holding myself accountable and work that little bit harder to help achieve the best results for me.

I honestly looked at myself in the mirror the other day and nearly cried!! How did I let myself go backwards after working so hard to lose the weight I lost and get so fit a year ago! Told my husband that if he sees me with chips or bikkies on my hand, it’s needs to smack it out of my hands and say ‘stop being a fat b***ch!’ Haha! There is obviously no way he would say that! Cause I would prob eat him too 😜 I’m trying so hard lately to get back on track, the striiv would help sooooo much!!!

I have often wondered how many steps in a day I take with all the walking I do at work. As a nurse you can be up and down all day, in one room off to another and then when it’s knock off time, pick up the kids, groceries, walk the dog and the list goes on. I always feel like my mind never turns off so it would be great to see how much sleep I do get. Plus this is a little luxury that I wouldn’t afford myself. What an amazing piece of technology.

I would love to win The Striiv Touch. All Mrs Tinks health and fitness posts are inspiring me to get myself organized and get my bottom moving to lose some of the 13 year old baby weight 😉 I am positive The Striiv Touch would help me along the way. 👍

I would love to use the striiv to track my fitness and achieve some goals just as you’ve been doing, amongst working, kids, all the usual mum stuff. Just a little, but very nifty way, to put my fitness and health at the forefront. A healthy, fit and nourished mum will raise healthy, fit and nourished children 🙂

I already have a striiv touch and love it.
I would really like to win one and give it to a very good friend. Then I will have one friend to add on my touch and can be competitive with her.

This year I have started running every afternoon and climbing mount coolum, this band would be excellent to keep track of my progress!!
I guess you could say that I’m Striiv-ing to be healthy 😉

Flibberty Gibberts! I’m already a little obsessed and I haven’t even tried it! Coming from a girl who spreads peanut butter right to the edge of the bread so my kids will eat their crusts & turns the toilet paper so it hangs from over the top of the roll! (even at other peoples houses)! Public toilets are a source of annoyance when the roll is put on the “wrong way” and then they lock that sucker in!! Anyway, you see my issues! Please may I win one of these little babies to replace and do away with my powder room obsession for good!

I’ve committed myself to climb Mt Coolum 50 times this year – I’ve done 6 already this first week – eeeek! The Striiv would be fabulous because it would mean I didn’t have to carry my phone – extra weight – body gets too sweaty to put phone in bra or pants!! I love a challenge – just between you and I, I’m really going for 100 climbs!! Come with me some time Mrs. Tink – Greta change of pace from our normal exercise programs 🙂

My goal for this year was to become fit and healthy. So far I have corrected my eating habits (except for when there is a chocolate bar sitting in front of me) and found a personal trainer to get me into perfect shape!! Normally when I walk, ride or attempt to run I take my phone with me so I can track how far I have traveled using the Lorna Jane app. The Striiv Touch sounds like the perfect device to help me achieve my fitness goals throughout the year!!

In the lead up to the wedding I am striving to be the healthiest version of me possible. This would help me keep myself accountable and keep track of all the effort I put in.

Have it! Love it! Haven’t quite gotten into the habit of tracking my sleep yet…but I will 🙂 I know it is easy to use so that even my technologically challenged, diabetic mother would put this to good use. She is like me…she needs the extra motivation that this provides and be my ‘friend’ so we could push each other. PS…I bought mine new on Amazon for $90.

I am in desperate need of something to get me motivated and keep me accountable for getting out there and becoming a healthy mum to my 2 young kids. To be able to track both my activity AND sleep would be amazing especially seen as though Master 5 and Miss 4 (well 4 in just 5 days!) go in and out of sleeping through the night. Definitely a healthier obsession than FB! Haha!

I have an older model of Striiv and love it very much! 3 1/2 years and I have 5.2 million steps! All I can do is track my steps as none of my buttons work any longer-I used them too much!!!!! I wear 24-7 and the unit is holding up well. I would really like to replace and be able to view all my goals not just my steps. I love Striiv and would recommend this product to all “wearable users”, no matter what your level of exercise.

I would loved to win a Stiiv Touch to help me keep track of my steps and exercise while being pregnant. Being a mum of 2 already takes up all my time and I never seem to remember to find time for me to fit in exercise which I need being nearly 18 weeks pregnant. I think it would held me accountable and keep me on track.

2015 is the year that I have committed to me! 10 years this year for me in business, a busy decade of volunteering and supporting other business women along with the juggle of family has left my bod with a bit too much padding! Time for me features strongly on my vision board this year in a non selfish but health focused way. To win the Stiiv Touch would support my goals and inspire me just like it did Mrs Tink to tackle each challenge and set new goals.

After just having a major operation, I know from here on in, I’m just going to get better and better. So with the Stiiv, it would be a huge motivator to have everything at the touch of a button and see the amazing progress that I’m going to make. Look out world!

I would love to win one of these! I have seen so many brands and heard mixed reviews from users but Nat’s points and praise has me! I am currently training for an ultra-marathon whilst studying and most importantly being a Mum so any tool I can use that keeps me on track, accountable, motivated and works in conjunction with my lifestyle and training is a tool I would dearly love to get my hands on! Thank you Nat for your honesty and detail, you’ve sold me! S
