Mrs Tink’s Fabulous Fathers Day Giveaway – EcoSwitch

Father’s Day is fast approaching and I thought it was only appropriate that I make sure the Dads were included. Father’s Day means so many things to so many different people especially in the world we live in today where family dynamics are not always Mum, Dad and 3 kids. To me Father’s Day like Mother’s Day is about celebrating those in your life that make it better just by being in it. It’s about celebrating someone who touches your life and that you can rely on through the good and the bad. So, although my questions are Father’s Day related please feel free to enter them all and celebrate someone who enriches your world on Father’s Day.

Mr Tink: Our last power bill was over $800 and the Tink’s churn through power likes there’s no tomorrow! I’m excited to see our next power bill now that we have started using the Eco Switch and the difference it has made. The concept is great!

“Using an EcoSwitch to turn off/on your electrical appliances is the easiest way to save yourself money – and wasted electricity. We all know we unnecessarily leave things turned on because, well sometimes it’s a hassle to turn them off. Well not anymore!

No batteries, no programming, EcoSwitch just makes it simple.

Would you like to add an EcoSwitch to your household? The fantastic team at EcoSwitch is giving one lucky reader the chance to WIN one. Simply tell us how you would use your EcoSwitch best? The judges will choose their favourite answer and announce a winner on September the 6th at 9pm.

Good Luck x

This is a fabulous idea! We could definitely use this. James (my boyfriend) does have a tendency to leave things plugged in and on (coffee maker, toaster, computer, TV, cable box & audio box, lights, etc.) so it would save him from having to hear me tell him all the time that he’s left everything on, that’s a nice Fathers Day gift for him as well. 😉 we also have our fur Baby FiFi, and I have an OCD tendency to check everything 2-3 times before leaving the house to make sure everything is turned off to be sure nothing can cause a fire while we are out and our little FiFi is home. So this would help save time to get me out of the house quicker, not having to check every LPG in every room individually. We are also saving for our first home purchase so every little bit counts. This is really brilliant!!!

We are a family of 3 with 3 smartphones, 6 tablets, 3 laptops, 1 iPod, 2PCs. So many devices for one small home. Obviously everything needs to be charged and regularly which I understand. But sorry, males are hopeless at turning any switches or power points off. I am constantly turning things off at the wall that have been left on, generally not attached to anything!! No wonder my power bills are so high. This would be a saving grace.

We would all love to reduce our power bills and save energy to help the environment. I would use this in my lounge room as there is so much in there . A Foxtel box , a DVD player , television, modem , laptop , iPad and several lights .

I would use it in the lounge room, TV DVD and everything else, and certain men refuse to bend over and turn it off! We had solar panels installed a few years ago, the unnamed men believe we can use more power now!

The Electricity bill is a worry in our household too! So many devices always left on. I would love to put this in our living room. We have TV, DVD, stereo, play station and a fish tank all on the same board which never gets turned off by the switch. This would be perfect and I am sure would make a great difference

I wouldn’t mind using this gadget in the kitchen at dinner time! The power could suddenly go out when it’s time to start cooking dinner & this mum of 4 girls would love a night off !!! Lol 😜😜😜 It would also be very handy kicking teenagers off electronics!! 😍😜😂
