Mrs Tink Kisses n Tells about Mia Bella and Dermalogica

Training outside in the elements during winter has left me with dry, chapped and not so kissable lips. My poor smackers are always left out when it comes to my skincare routine (despite them getting a good exercise day in day out – as I talk nonstop).
When my favourite friends at Mia Bella Kawana mentioned a new treatment from Dermalogica just for lips I couldn’t wait to try it for myself and see if it would make a difference to my unloved and undernourished kissers.
Dermalogica has always been known for their amazing range of speciality skincare products, many of which I’ve tried over the years and loved, but a treatment just for your lips? I never knew such a thing existed.

The Dermalogica Renewal Lip Complex is cute, compact and is presented in a gorgeous luxe case, much like a lipstick. As soon as you open the container you can see the top is filled with little tiny holes for all the good stuff to come through. With a little twisting the Lip Treatment Gel rises up and then you just applied to your lips – easy!

Once applied I enjoyed rubbing my lips together while they soaked up the moisture. The treatment leaves a nice gloss that made my lips look smooth and plump. My lips were in heaven! Aside from the odd lip gloss I wear for events, my lips rarely get any moisture or special treatment.
The thing I loved most about this treatment is its staying power. Once applied it doesn’t dissolve or need reapplying every hour. It lasts and lasts. I used it overnight frequently and when I woke up the next morning my lips felt soft and decadent. This clever little treatment really does work and healed my dry cracked lips in just 48 hours of use. Goodbye crocodile lips, hello perky soft kissers.
Is aftermath of winter still wearing on your lips? Would you like to try this gorgeous product for yourself? Well you’re in luck because the very lovely Kerry from Mia Bella is giving you chance to WIN one! I absolutely love spring. Everything is fresh and new. Flowers are flowering, the sun is out, the sky is blue. People are happier. It’s like a renewal from the cold, winter months of hibernation. Our skin is dry but seeking the fresh air and sun. We all just walk with a spring in our step for the sunnier and brighter days ahead.

This lip treatment sounds amazing! Just what my crocodile lips need 🙂 Spring would have to be my favourite season. Blue skies and warm weather is my reason. Flowers are in bloom and the grass is luscious and green. No more hiding indoors, there is outside to be seen! Lovely picnics and outings to the beach, Spring makes me feel energised with nothing out of reach 🙂

Autumn has captured my heart! I grew up in Qld but now living in vic I’m so enchanted by the turning of the leaves, the spattered hues of red and orange & the skeleton trees that provide perfect silhouettes for photographs.
