Mrs Tink gets her summer on early with Jeanswest

I’ve been very blessed to work with Jeanswest. They are innovative, energizer bunnies who never stop bringing out wearable collections at a reasonable price.
Recently, I’ve been even more impressed with Jeanswest as they have spoilt their customers with a brand new swimwear collection and wait for it, a shoe collection! Just when I thought I could not obsess about them anymore, they hit me with two of my favourite items: Swimwear and Shoes! And in true Jeanswest style they have brought designs and styles that you won’t see anywhere else using only the best fabrics and materials.

Jeanswest Holiday Essentials

‘Cher’ Gladiator

Where do I begin? So many cool things to share and visuals of their collections have my head spinning with excitement! Let’s start with shoes!

Jeanswest have designed a collection of shoes with summer in mind, pulling inspiration from both tribal and boho styles. Each of their shoes are made using beautiful materials including leather and suede which are layered with embellishments that will have strangers begging to know where you purchased your footwear.

I was lucky enough to get my hands on a pair of the Cher Gladiator Sandals and just like the woman herself they are fabulous with a capital F. The Cher Gladiators are made with soft suede and finished with beautiful tassels and are ridiculously comfortable to wear. One of my fave things about them is their versatility from a casual lunch to dressing them up with a maxi for dinner or teaming them up with white jeans for the office. In fact, since receiving these beautiful shoes to review they have barely left my feet and I’ve retired my heels and given my tootsies a break. Check out the range in store at Jeanswest they are a ‘must have this summer’ but be quick each design is limited and once sold out they will not be releasing anymore.

Now moving on to a taboo subject for many women, swimwear. So many women cringe when buying swimwear and the harsh lighting in many swimwear shops leaves us scarred for life and running home empty handed. Since having my babies it doesn’t matter how hard I train or what I eat. I’ve been left with my ‘mummy pouch’ (like a kangaroo) which was amazing for housing my joeys but not so amazing for wearing sassy swimsuits. When I had the opportunity to go in store and try on the new collection I was excited to see what they were like and just like my trusty Prima Jeans I was hooked!
Check out the recap of my in store experience and you will see:

The one swimsuit that ticked all my boxes was the Dharma Full Piece. Now ladies normally when I think of a full piece I picture elderly ladies doing water aerobics in black suits or BeyoncΓ© shaking her booty, neither have me excited. So if I’m honest I was reluctant to try on a full piece and terrified at how I may look but I’m so glad I plunged into the sea of swimwear and did because this baby is fabulicious!

The cut is extremely flattering and hugs in all the right places and wait for it…. It makes my ‘mummy tummy’ non-existent! The boho style and gorgeous fabric is uber stylish and once I tried it on I couldn’t take it off! I felt fierce and confident and quickly started inventing ‘events’ to be able to wear it. This piece emulates why I love Jeanswest so much – they get women. They have thought about all the things women look for, waved their magic wand and created a piece all body shapes will love.

My love affair with Jeanswest just got more intense! And yours can too! I know you will love me when I tell you that one lucky reader is going to WIN this uber fab Dharma Full Piece! And all you have to do is share with us why you ‘must have’ this gorgeous swimsuit this summer? Our judges will choose their favourite answer and announce a winner on the 4th of November at 9pm (QLD time).

Good Luck xx

I must have this swimsuit because I’ve been wearing one of those senior citizen black full piece swimmers for way to long! I love these the colour and the style πŸ˜„perfect for us ladies that have had kids

I’d love to win this amazing piece as I’ve always felt self conscious in any swimwear but this summer I’d love to embrace my new body shape after birthing my 2 children and feel confident again in public at local pools and beaches!

Oh my god I LOVE that swimsuit! I just had a baby (13 weeks ago) and been working super hard to get my body back. The dharma swimsuit would be the perfect motivation (and reward) for never skipping a workout – even through the most exhausting, busy, screaming bundle of joy day.

I must have one, not because I need one, just purely because I want one. Aaannnd I have these cool pants that would go sooo well with them so that I could go from the beach to the bar for a Sunday sesh. I’ve always wanted to be one of those effortless types xx

I would love to win the one piece as I’m due to have a baby this week and I’m off to WA for a wedding in February, which will include some days at the beach, so it would be nice to feel confident in a new pair of stylish swimmers.

I always buy black swimsuits and have never been game enough to try patterns or colours. I’ve been exercising and trying to eat better the last five months and have lost a bit of weight. I think I’d have the confidence to wear this beautiful swimsuit.

I am totally in love with this piece!!!
I have actually never worn a one piece swim suite but as a mum of three little boys this would not only be practical for our days at the beach and the pool but I would look super stylish in the process!!!

I hate swimwear… but I have 3 kids in swim lessons and I HAVE to be in the pool for the youngest so I “MUST HAVE” this… if you have to do it you had better look your best as Grandma always told me.

Other than being super cute .. I Love a one piece. They hide the mummy bits better and make me feel sensual just like a woman should feel in swimwear.. πŸ™‚

Why? Well this Boho’s got no Hoe-Hoe! πŸ˜€ Is a non-mumsy one piece! I thought these were impossible to find without the hoochie cutout in the middle. πŸ˜‰ I love it and want to rock it!

I’ll be completely honest, 3 babies, twins and a singleton in two years did me no favours. The twins are in swimming lessons now and I’m wearing my pre baby board shorts very unflatteringly and one of my husband’s singlets. I look at the other mums and they really have it sorted, they look great and well put together regardless of their size, I look bag lady chic… Also avoiding mirrors hasn’t helped. Help a mum out, take pity on me!
I am loving the jeans west boho feel, it’s beautiful and feminine and so easy to wear. I’m won over for sure

I must have that divine swimsuit, as I am a little fed up of being the mum who never gets in the pool with my kids. Swimming and beach are “dad” activities in our family as I feel a sense of horror at digging out an old swimsuit and putting it on.
What a great surprise for my daughters if one day I rocked up in that super fabulous little gem and took them to the pool!!! πŸ™‚

That’s too easy…I must have the Dharma full piece, simply so I can look as fabulicious as Mrs Tink. Also it looks like it was made for my next trip to Byron. πŸ™‚

After working on my summer bod all winter and on my third week into an eight week challenge, I’m thinking this one piece would come in very handy for my Xmas holidays at the beach…just lovely it is! πŸ˜ƒ
