Mrs Tink discovers it’s possible to make delicious and healthy meals with Wattle Valley

I’m a fan of easy delicious food. I work full time, train in between and have two very active little people so anything fast and easy is always on the menu. Although, I must also say that not only must it be fast it must also be nutritious and not rubbish. I like my naughty food, don’t get me wrong, but when it comes to my families eating habits I like them to be clean and healthy during the week and I’ve become somewhat of a ‘super sleuth’ when it comes to hiding vegetables in the kids dinners.
With summer coming up the nights are getting warmer and the last I feel like doing is slaving over a hot stove after a busy day in the office so when the team from Wattle Valley sent me their Souvlaki Kit I couldn’t wait to try it. The instructions were simple and the pack came complete with wraps, seasoning and sauce plus a great list of easy things to add like yoghurt, red onion, tomatoes, cos lettuce and of course lamb. The recipe was almost too easy to follow and Master 6 was in his element helping me prepare his dinner.

He loved being able to serve himself and ate more salad then I would usually put on his plate plus he happily ate onion complementing me as he chomped down on wrap number two asking “mummy can we eat these every night?” By far one of the easiest, yummiest reviews I’ve ever done with the family and one we’ll be adding to our weekly menu especially with summer on the way.

Would you like to try the Wattle Valley Souvlaki kit for your family too? The lovely team at Wattle Valley are giving away a Wattle Valley Product Pack to one lucky reader.

Simply share with me why you would like to win and our judges will choose their favourite answer and announce a winner on 1st of December.
Good Luck x

What a fantastic idea. Like you, we’ve just taken to making our own souvlakis in recent weeks, but that’s with me buying every ingredient separately. This pack will tick off a few items on my shopping list in one. My teen son had the same response as yours and we’ve enjoyed these a few times. In fact, I have the souvlaki marinated lamb meat in the fridge from Coles last week. I just need to buy the other bits and pieces to go with it. Thanks to Wattle Valley, what a fantastic idea.

We have a taco night every week – Thaco Thursday’s the kids call it! This is when I get all their salad veggies in. I get the good old tupperware server out and fill it with carrots, tomatoes, lettuce, cucumber, capsicum and cheese. They love it as they just snack on the veggies in between their tacos. No complaints! This would be a new one to add to our weekly meal planner.
