Mrs Tink’s BIGGER than Big 5 Weeks of Christmas Giveaways! Week One – ALCATEL ONETOUCH

Master 6 is at an age where he is interested in technology, he regularly downloads apps and sets up various games. He has taken over my phone and leaves me with very little memory space and often a low battery. Mr Tink and I have been thinking for a while now that it’s time to buy him his own device. Something he can have, just for him, so I can have full control of my phone again. Recently, I had the opportunity to review a great product from Alcatel and the timing could not have been better! I had the perfect little person to help me review it.

When I opened the box I marvelled at its size, the tablet was easy to hold and fit comfortably in my hand. I charged the device easily and once fully charged I got to work navigating around and delving into the features closely being ‘shown’ by Master 6 who sat chiming in behind me at what to press. The tablet was easy to use even for a rookie like me and Master 6 loved working out how to the download games.

It was simple to connect to Wi-Fi and Master 6 loved being able to watch cartoons through YouTube all from his very own device. The Alcatel One Touch holds its charge beautifully and doesn’t take long to recharge when battery is low. The graphics are fantastic and the colour is great. All in all a great product for a fantastic price (RRP $99).

I would love to win this for my autistic son unfortunately he microwaved his phone (I might add the claims that it charges your phone to full are not true!!!!) and this would be fantastic for him to be able to download games that keep him fairly calm

My mum needs this, lets just say shes slightly ‘technical challenged’ her current phone is so old and useless it doesn’t even have sound anymore but she wont upgrade because “they are too complicated’ lol this would suit her to a T

I bought a different brand for my boy for the same reasons! I dropped it and smashed the screen getting it out of the box!! So no tablet for him!! Are these a sturdy unit? Maybe if I won this one, I could let him get it out of the box and it not break lol!! :0)

Why not… It’s hot!! And I’d make the top of the Christmas list as the favourite Aunty this year to a certain little boy!! Of course I’d make the kid promise to look after me in my old age in a written statement before handing it over!! Hehehehe!!

With so many educational apps available for tablets for children of all ages, having access to these is extremely beneficial for their development. This would create another avenue, bringing fun and excitement while teaching my two little munchkins new things. I love to show them that education and learning can be fun and interactive. This would create even more fun times with my little ones, as I’m a firm believer that time with your children should ALWAYS be considered an “Invitation”, not an “Interruption”.

I would LOVE this to get my loving adoring children off my phone 😝 it feels like everyone I make a coffee and go to sit down with it and look through Facebook/Instagram/blogs I have at least 1/3 in my phone asking to play on my phone – and I usually give in so I can drink my coffee in peace

I would love this to enjoy a coffee in peace. Whenever I think I have the chance to make a coffee and get on my phone and look through Facebook or Instagram my children descend from nowhere and start begging to play on my phone. I end up giving in so I can at least drink the coffee.

I would love to win this for my 6 yr old step daaughter! She has just recently discovered technology and loves playing games on our phones/ipad. It would be great to get her something of her own so we don’t have to live in constant fear of her dropping our phones in the toilet, her food, out the window etc 😂

My 2 kiddies love touch screen time. They watch cartoons, play games and giggle away. Although my little Master 3 and little Miss 6 are at the age where they simply don’t like the same things anymore. So with 1 touch screen in the house I am forced to give up my phone so the wars don’t begin. Would love to give Master 3 his very own to keep things at peace in my home and so I can download so fun educational apostles for him that he would enjoy ☺️🎄🎅🎁

  23. Tennille Dumbell says:

    Master 5 is starting school,
And with this touch he would be so cool!
Reading Eggs, Mathletics and so much more
Homework would never be a chore!
From the age of 2 he has been tech savvy
Smarter than his mummy & daddy
This touch would make a little boy’s day
I’m certain he would be screaming hooray, hooray!
So Mrs Tink, thank you for the amazing prizes
You are always full of lots of surprises!
Merry Christmas to you and the Tink clan,
I’m certainly one of your #1 fans!

This would be great for Dad … he’s almost 81 and is also known as GD by the grandchildren! We bought him a laptop last year but it’s a bit complex and he has never typed in his life. So he’s a bit scared of using it. His hands are big from working with machinery in agriculture all his life and also his poor fingers are a little less responsive to hand/eye coordination demands. (Shhh. Don’t tell him I said that !!! He’s as fit as a mallee bull). I reckon this would be a good for him as the touch screen will be easier than the mouse. I also suspect he will gain confidence in his ability to tackle technology, wrestle it to the ground and hog tie it to his brain!

Can’t think of anything better to give to my niece for an extra christmas gift! She’s very tech savvy for a 5 year old and is always stealing the ipad and hiding away in a fort before we catch her with it, i’m sure this gift would go a long way.

I am the only one in the internet world who doesn’t have a tablet. To post a picture, I have to grab the camera, download the photos to one computer, transfer them via stick to another then upload. Hence, I don’t do it. Give me a tablet, and I’ll finally be able to show my face (in a selfie even!) on the internet.

Forget the little people…. I want this one for me, or for you actually! ! Anyone who’s been in Colorpop Cosmetics knows that my music consists of running over and resetting CDs (so old skool) and this little device would hold probably enough songs that I could leave it to play all day.
Plus I can load it up with makeover apps for my customers to peruse – how cool would that be?
Yep, I definitely need a Tink Tablet for my store!

Miss not yet 3 stomped the mini ipad and was so proud of the patterns she had made in the screen!!! Lucky I had a protective cover to stop her cutting herself as she did. The older boys no longer have any device to do anything and as we travel a lot they’d hate this but they could get their homework on it!!! YAY win for me.

Every night when I am cooking dinner I try and listen to songs on you tube but after about three songs my kids always says “mum can I borrow it to listen to our songs” and they constantly harass me till I give it to them. Outcome is I miss out on singing, dancing and listening to my music while cooking and instead have to listen to “frozen” over and over again – scream!!!! So this would solve that issue and I can get back to cooking with music yippee )

My youngest has just broken her first bone and is required to 6 weeks of rest and no rough play. We are trying our hardest to keep her calm and resting but it is hard and often involves just letting her watch tv. An Alcatal Onetouch would give her and us so much more freedom and she could be learning at the same time. It would mean she could use in in the stroller when we go out or at the park, cafe or playdate. This little devise actually looks like my lifesaver!

I would love thus clever little tablet as I currently use my TV as a computer monitor and since I cannot read the screen (getting out to get prescription glasses is rather a challenge) I read my phone too much which is not good for the neck or eyes.

So the magical little tablet would save my eyeballs and neck muchos pain and I could do proper computer stuff! Win win I say 🙂
