Mrs Tink’s BIGGER than Big 5 Weeks of Christmas Giveaways! Week One – Lauren Rugless Design

I’m not sure about you but my tea towels are hidden in a drawer far away from anyone’s eyes. They are ugly, holey, and beaten up. This Christmas my kitchen has been treated to one of the most beautiful tea towels I have ever laid eyes on. It’s gorgeous and looks like a piece of art and uniquely designed by the very talented Lauren Rugless at Nicoya Furniture & Textiles

Made from a beautiful cotton fabric it’s not only easy on the eye it’s heavy duty and washes and wears beautifully. Since arriving in my home it’s made me realise how lovely little things like this are to a kitchen and how silly I’ve been to not replace my holey, ugly tea towels before. This gorgeous tea towel is called Reef and its bright yellow colour has added a welcome pop of colour to my white kitchen. Perfect for summer and to have ‘on show’ for all my Christmas guests.

Are you ready to get rid of all your horrible old towels? Ready for a nice of pop colour?

One lucky reader has the chance to win this beautiful tea towel for their home.

Simply share with me why you would like to add this gorgeous tea towel to your home ?

Our judges will choose their favourite answer and announce a winner on the 8th of December at 10pm

My Mum’s re-doing her kitchen after a long time of suffering in small, unusable space. This beautiful pop of yellow would be the perfect addition to reflect her happiness in the space 🙂

I actually am one of ‘those’ people who has a decorative tea towel that hangs on the oven for everyone to see when they walk into my kitchen… it is not to be used by the husband (for many reasons but mostly because he burns holes in them) This Lauren Rugless would look beautiful hanging there!

It is my philosophy that art should not be limited to canvas on walls. Ordinary objects should be beautiful, stylish, designed with art in mind. I’ve painted a lot of things myself. This tea towel would work so well in the canvas that is my home.

We borrow our home but it means bland not grand. I can’t paint but I can blingle it up. This would look gorgeous as a table centre under the kids Christmas driftwood creation.
