Mrs Tink’s BIGGER than Big 5 Weeks of Christmas Giveaways! Week Two -Vtech Kidizoom Smart Watch DX

Master 6 has been asking me for quite some time for a watch, he is fascinated with knowing the time and loves this idea of being a ‘grown up’ and wearing a watch on his wrist. After researching I found it very hard to find anything suitable for a 6 year old that was hard wearing and fun – previously I bought Master 6 a wall clock instead which went down like a lead balloon and as it was explained to me ‘it’s not the same Mum’.

A few weeks ago my friends at VTech Toys came to the rescue with a new product called the Kidizoom Smartwatch that was sure to put a smile on Master 6’s dial and some new arm candy on his wrist. As you know from my previous blogs I’ve been a huge fan of VTech Toys for years and the Kidizoom Smartwatch has once again reminded me why I loved this company so much. Their toys are not only educational but also fun and you don’t need a degree to work them out.

Master 6 squealed with delight as he opened the fun bright packaging and dove in to try on the Kidizoom Smartwatch. After prying the watch from his very excited grip I placed it on charge and sent Master 6 off to bed promising him he would be a proud watch owner in the morning. At 5am on the dot (for a kid with no watch he was prompt) Master 6 was waking me up begging “Mum is it time?” (lol time – no pun intended) I disconnected the watch and sent Master 6 on his way to figure out his new gadget. 2 hours later my little guy beamed with pride and he took me through all the features:

– Camera

– Video Camera

– Photo effects and editing

– Voice recorder

– Stop watch and timer

– Alarm

– And games!

Master 6 was so impressed with the features that he forgot he could also now tell the time! This clever watch could do everything except clean the dishes (there’s a good idea for your next one VTech).

I set the time for Master 6 and he was off feeling proud as punch and so grown up. For the next few weeks Master 6 recorded his every move and taught Mr Tink to download all of his files to our PC (needless to say there were 1 million videos of Master 6’s feet).

All in all the Vtech Kidizoom Smartwatch is a great toy; it’s educational, heavy duty and keeps kids entertained for hours on end. It’s a great prezzie for kids aged 5-12 and one that will make your little person very happy on Christmas Day.

Would you like to WIN your own Kidizoom Smartwatch for your little person? The very generous team at VTech Toy have given me one to giveaway to one lucky person.

I would love to win this amazing watch for my 7 year old son who is learning to tell time and loves to click pictures about his daily adventures but does not have much access to his dad’s camera .I just want to see the smile his face when he will wear this coolest watch in town ,with an inbuilt camera and many more fun features because a cool watch and a camera are the two things that he has asked from SANTA this year.

Tyler wears his wrap watch constantly… even though the watch bit came out and he lost it in the toy room!! He says he’ll find it ? Big school next year and he’s counting the days till he gets there. He’s reading his first words and checking the clock constantly and telling me where the hands are. He loves to photograph bugs!! I had to make him a separate file so I wouldn’t accidentally look at it while relaxing.. Yuk. Their not all living or in one piece!! His sister stomped the ipad and their game machine stopped so they have no electronic games anymore and he would thrive with this on our daily 1/2hr drive to school.

My son would think this was just the best gift ever, this is so awesome and would keep him entertained for hours . Maybe I would then have some battery life on my phone , l think most of us mums can relate to that

I would like to win so my daughter can time herself instead of asking me constantly. Miss 7 is a little obsessed with working out how long things take to do. Also the alarm would stop me from having to wake her in the morning for school. I am lucky that she sleeps in but think it is time she can wake herself with an alarm. On another note my daughter would like to play the games and take numerous photos

my daughter has asked for a watch for over a year but I have yet to deliver (bad mum i am) – she would absolutely adore a watch like this as she would go crazy over all the other things it can do as that is so what she is into (even i admit that it sounds really cool) – however my son would also want one as he wants to learn to tell the time plus he would know how to use all the other features as well so if i won then this one may have to be for him (as my daughter would want a pink one so then i would have to buy her one too lol). So Mrs Tink you get to decide if i have to spend money or save money lol 🙂

My middle boy just turned 8 so has just had his birthday, But it would make an amazing birthday present for my big boy who turns the big 10 beginning of next year. He would be the coolest kid on the block!

WOW oh WOW Mrs Tink! Here I am laying in bed sick whilst hubby is working in Sydney & our 8 yr old son Jack has come to visit me in bed every 5 minutes, over the last 3 hours plus (thats’s asking 45 times!) “What time is it Mum?” “What time are we having breakfast?” & “What time am I visiting my friend next door?” This amazing V-Tech watch would be the best Christmas present ever! Right up his alley with all the gadgets! ☺ Thanks for sharing! I think I’ll have to buy a V-Tech for his older brother too for Christmas! Cheers & have an awesome Christmas xxx

My little one is just obsessed with the time at the moment and to be honest a watch had not occurred to me – I also bought him a clock but that seemed to satisfy him and he proudly announces the time each and every minute (sometimes numerous times a minute) not annoying at all!
I think that a Vtech Kidizoom Smartwatch would just completely amaze him and he would learn so much from it!

    Mummy has a Tom Tom
    Daddy a Garmin
2 little boys sharing a Vtech
    They’d be screaming ca-mon!
Telling the time they’d keep mummy happy
    Being late makes mummy snappy!
Vtech has been in our house since baby days
But this gadget is enough to blow us away
Allowing the boys to be grown up
They’d be flicking the watch and saying what’s up!
Photographing their facials and a wink,
Thank you, thank you Mrs Tink!
