Mrs Tink takes you on a tour of the Ginger Factory

The Ginger Factory in Yandina is so much more than ginger which I found out recently when I popped in and discovered a haven of fun for all ages.

The Ginger Factory is renowned for being home to the world’s finest ginger, exporting it to countries worldwide, but what you may not know is that The Ginger Factory is also a fun day out for families. Catering to all ages The Ginger Factory has something for everyone! There’s the nostalgic steam train, Moreton, you can ride around the beautiful manicured gardens or the Around the World Boat Ride which follows the gingerbread man around the world visiting different countries. It’s easy to see why it’s become such a popular stop for parents and their children.

In every corner there is something to do, including the huge playground that enthralls children as soon as you enter. It’s perfectly positioned across from the eatery allowing you to enjoy lunch or a coffee break while the kids have the time of their life exploring all the play centre has to offer and meeting new friends.

The Ginger Factory experience is fabulous for combining fun and education so whether you’re there for the rides or to experience a show, your kids will leave The Ginger Factory filled with fun, new experiences and knowledge.

With families in mind, the sensational team at The Ginger Factory have introduced a VIP Pass (under 4 years old are free) that allows unlimited rides on Moreton the train and the Around the World Boat Ride which means your kids (like mine) can go on again, and again, and then some more! It’s the ultimate treat and the best part is the price, for a mere $38 per person you will hold an annual pass for the whole year so you can go and get your adventure on whenever you like!

To launch the new VIP passes, The Ginger Factory have create a special pack just for Mrs Tink readers. I’m giving away a VIP Ginger Traveller Pack for 4 which includes the award winning Ginger Traveller Book, one photo on the boat ride and a special Ginger Factory Pack.

To enter simply share with me why you would like to win? It’s that easy! The judges will choose their favourite answer and announce a winner on Monday 18th April at 10pm.

Good luck x

Oh my gosh! I am born & raised on the Sunshine Coast… My 2 children (7 & 6) are born & raised on the Sunshine Coast & we have NEVER been to the Ginger Factory! It looks so fabulous, the boat ride looks super cute & I know Miss 6 would LOVE to learn about making the honey she eats every day. Oh please Mrs Tink, my family has missed out on this local treasure for far too long ❤

Surprisingly, after living on the coast for over 14 years, I’ve never been to the Gibger Factory. Which means Miss 7 and Miss 2 haven’t been before either. I know, you’re asking yourself what’s wrong with me! I wish I knew! But if I won this awesome prize in sure I’d fall in love with this gingery slice of heaven.

my children have been to the ginger factory but never on the rides (the budget just cant stretch far enough for that at the moment) – they have always wondered what was in side that building which houses the boat ride and it would be amazing to take them on it so they can see what it is and stop asking “can we go on that ride mummy” 🙂
