Mrs Tink gets #Instaflawless with Rimmel and Kate Moss

I’ve had a love affair with Rimmel for many years now so I’m always excited to review and try each new product they create. It’s certainly a blogger perk I love and one you could barely call work.
Recently I received a lovely package from Rimmel containing the much talked about #Insta Flawless Perfecting, Radiant Skin Tint and two products from the Love Kate collection, the Kate Conditioning Balm and the Kate Sculpting Palette Kit. The instant I saw the packaging I knew I would love these products, they screamed my name and ticked my makeup wishlist: radiant, highlight and gloss. But most importantly they were all my fave neutral colours.

Although I’m a walking and talking makeup bag, I still like to keep things natural and tend to stay away from bright colours. To begin I started with #Insta Flawless (with a name like that, who wouldn’t?), I squeezed a small amount onto my hand and proceeded to apply it to my face. The first thing I noticed was the gorgeous scent and as I applied the tint to my skin I began to see a nice soft glow. By the time I had finished, my face felt hydrated and clean unlike a foundation finish.

The tint is light, easy to apply and left my skin feeling great. It’s not thick like some tints but do note that a little bit goes a long way, so don’t be put off by the small bottle. You only need a little amount to achieve good coverage.

#Insta Flawless is perfect for day wear especially as it has SPF15. The built-in moisturiser left my skin feeling hydrated all throughout the day and into the evening without clogging my pores. This is also a great product to use for night-time as a primer and applying your foundation over the top creates a gorgeous finish which left my skin glowing.

A big thumbs up on #Insta Flawless I was #instawowed.

Next I moved on to the Sculpting Palette from the Love Kate collection ( The Kate Moss Collection), and I have to be honest, contouring and I have not been friends previously. I’ve made some huge contouring blunders that have left me looking like a Gridiron player. The huge selling point for me with this product is that it’s a powder, so I was filled with confidence because powders I’m experienced with!

This kit really is a great starting point for contour-virgins because there are easy to follow instructions on the back that make it impossible to get wrong. The top powder is the Highlight Illuminer that immediately lured me in. The colour is everything you could want in a highlighter with a soft shimmer that screams, “Use me”. The second powder in the palette is the Contour Sculpter that creates a beautiful finish and contours your face. The third and last powder is the blush and the colour is stunning.

I followed the simple instructions and within seconds I had actually contoured! I was shocked, it worked! The powders were easy to use and left a beautiful finish that was so easy to achieve. Each of the colours are versatile and can be used outside of contouring – the highlighter makes an amazing eyeshadow. This kit is now officially in my day-to-day makeup bag and part of my regular routine. A big thumbs up to Rimmel on this product, it’s sensational.

Last is the Kate Conditioning Lip Balm, a fabulous balm in lipstick form that glides onto your lips like an ice skater on ice. It’s light and luxurious, perfect for gals like me that rarely wear lipstick. The balm is super hydrating and stays on your lips for hours without turning chalky. This is one product I’ve since bought three of so I have one in the car, at home, in the office and in my handbag. It’s a big must-have for any makeup bag and something I will continue to use.

Rimmel never fails to impress me with their commitment to giving women more from their cosmetics. Each of these products did exactly what they said they would and kept delivering throughout the day.

Would you like to add these babies to your makeup bag? I have a Kate Sculpting Palette, Kate Conditioning Balm and a #Insta Flawless Perfecting, Radiant Skin Tint to give away to one lucky reader. To win simply share with me why you would like to win? I will choose my favourite answer and announce a winner on the 29th of April at 10pm.

Good luck xx

I would love to win because I can only afford to buy the cheap brands of cosmetics, and it would be lovely to use a quality product that feels nice on and doesn’t block my pores or leave be feeling dry and itchy

I would love to win this Rimmel pack. I’m not exactly a make up queen. The further eat I go is bb cream, blush and some powder to cover my shine. Sculpting scare the living day lights out of me, but the sculpting palette seems really easy to use and who doesn’t need a little lip conditioning. Help me cover my aging, spotty skin please Mrs Tink!

I love Rimmel! Its actually my first choice for cosmetics all round (although I do think they could add a great gel eyeliner to their range). I’ve always used Rimmel foundations because they have shades that are great for people with a more yellow base- not so pink which is me! I’ve been eying off these new products so I’d love to try!

The Instance Flawless sounds amazing. I don’t wear foundation during the day and the BB creams don’t seem to be working the same for me as they used to. I would love to win and look as radiant as you do in your before and after pics Mrs Tink. These three products combined would have me walking out the door in less than 5 minutes. Perfect for me

Flawless skin, is that really possible. Hide my blemishes and redness would make me feel so beautiful. I love the sculpting palette because what you need is all there and they have even labelled each of the three with 1, 2 & 3, also writing what they are as in 1. Highlight Illuminer & Contour Sculpter so on. It’s almost a dummy’s guide to sculpting that even extreme virgin makeup sculptor older Woman like myself can feel confident in using it. For Women like me, hearing about contouring or sculpter normally send me into a worried frenzy. I love the Insta Flawless tint especially as it doesn’t clog your pores, something I have always suffered with. The Lip Balm is a must have for everyone. To often, I think we take our Lips for granted. Overall I have to say that this Trio of Products are the most exciting products i have heard of yet. We all want to look our very best & feel beautiful, but at my age, the day’s of buying a simple bottle of Foundation & just applying it with my fingers are well and truly over. I cannot wait to try these Beauties and see if I go from Extra Virgin makeup dummy to a sassy, gorgeous Woman who’s face say’s you got this babe 🙂 🙂 xxx

I love my eyes, without any makeup on them. l also love the way a bit of mascara and a very fine black eyeliner makes them look. It makes me feel like a woman, a beautifull woman. I can smile back to the mirror, I can go out feeling confident about myself and love who I am. It took me years to get to a point where I can actually do this, I smile with my eyes 🙂
Looking at your makeup look, made me smile 🙂 You are smiling with your eyes in both pictures and you look radiant! I smile with my eyes the most when my skin looks flawless, and I can’t think of a better of making my skin look perfect.
And thanks very much for your detailed review!

I believe feeling beautiful is a mental de-stress. Having kids is amazing but it can get very stressful. Being able to give myself a flawless look and put on a summer dress, wander around the weekend market, sip a fresh mango shake!! Rejuvenates the soul and gives a mum her everlasting smiles. Lots of stress this year calls for me to look after myself that little bit extra, but the smiles I could create with Insta flawless help would be well worth the effort.
