Mrs Tink’s Mother’s Day Giveaway – Dremel

Recently all of my Mother’s Day dreams came true when a special parcel arrived from Dremel. A parcel filled with some super cool tools that instantly had me squealing. For many years now I’ve been eyeing off an engraver, why you ask? Simply because when you have kids it doesn’t matter how many times you label something, it either wears or washes off. I’ve spent hundreds on stickers and markers only to last the first term of school and then boom! Off comes the name.

Dremel must have had mums in mind because they’ve developed an engraver that engraves everything! Metal, wood, glass and even plastic! Plus it comes with a stencil kit which means if you’re not blessed with a steady hand, like me, you can still create an engraving that looks professional. But I should warn you, once you start you won’t stop. I’ve engraved everything… wine glasses, lunch boxes, toys and even Mr Tink’s tools! I’m officially the engraving queen. Huge thumbs up to Dremel on creating an easy to use device that has multiple uses. The engraver has saved me a small fortune in lunchboxes and school supplies, now they are so clearly marked nothing is going missing!

Dremel haven’t stopped there, they also wowed me with a fabulous Hot Glue Gun that got my creative juices flowing. With dual-temperature and a selection of glue sticks, this awesome little device does it all and is perfect for everything from basic crafts to glueing timber and creating home decor projects. It’s easy to use, so kids with supervision could use it, it’s not messy like other glue guns and is compact for easy storage.

Oh my gosh, I’d love to win because I’ve been wanting a glue gun forever! I’m an avid crafter and even more so now that mr 2.5 is becoming more interested in crafts too, recently we just made a canvas print of his artwork. We would have so much fun with this, and the engraving kit is an amazing bonus that would certainly be handy in our house!

After studying Jewellery Design & Manufacturer you are taught the value of quality tools.. Dremel was the brand we used as our drill.. So imagine my excitement when I saw this prize come up…!! Oh boy the ideas are endless…………. I could engrave a message to a certain male about changing the empty toilet paper roll………….. hehehehehehe…!!

OMG Mrs. Tink! This has to be my favourite giveaway you’ve ever done. My friends and family always say I’m the Queen of personalised gifts but that does mean I’ve spent a small fortune on engraved presents before like bracelets & rings, a world globe, hip flasks, chopping boards and even pens! I, myself, work in design so I’m quite handy with a pen so I’d definitely be able to engrave and design so many things myself! I’d love, love, love to win! 🙂

This looks so cool I have never used one before but I am sure it would come in very handy around the house one day…. awsome prize 😃

Wow! What an awesome product! I am forever labelling containers for school, drink bottles, you name it I will label it. Last year I loaned out a couple of wooden chopping boards and a platter out to a friend for a function. I only received one back 😔 if I had this amazing tool I could have engraved my name on them so they all would have made it back home. The hot glue gun would also come very handy around the house with my 2 kiddies and their fascination with crafts ☺️☺️☺️ Love your crown Mrs Tink 👑

Oh my goodness this is the coolest thing ever! I’m known as the ‘label queen’ in our household because I will try to label ANYTHING! Unfortunately there are plenty of things that labels just don’t work for (dishes, tupperware, jewellery for example) so the engraver would answer my prayers! I’ve also recently dug out my old scrap booking kit (best.hobby.ever) so the glue gun is destined for a work out! ❤

  10. Susan Banyard says:

i have lost count of the amount of things my boys have lost at school due to name labels being removed, engraving their names on would sure fix that problem.
We also make many gifts for family and would love to be able to engrave that extra personal message making them keepsakes to cherish.

I’m a total creator. Half of all we have has been made by myself or my partner and some really cool stuff by the kids. Something I have recently taken too is decorating hats and shoes. I was blessed with a daughter that is the BIGGEST blingle lover!! Her happy dancing when I tied pretend flowers to her hat set me on the path to see what other amazing and original item I could dazzle her with. Her shoes totally need some glue gun razzle dazzle!! As for that engraver!! I’m seeing fairies etched into her new toy box I’ve just sanded!! She would be over the moon!!

  12. Cheerie Murnane says:

The engraver would be the best, mom loves her leather belts, we could give her a really personalized belt I know she would love, And from then on the gifts from the kids could have special meaning.

  13. Anj K says:

I had no idea you could even buy an engraver for home, thank you Dremel!
This is a fantastic prize and would save us so much money as we are forever leading anything and everything to anyone we meet and rarely ever see these items again. Maybe engraving them would help people ‘remember’ to return them to us?!? Either way it would be great fun engraving everything!

this is one gift i love and need Mrs Tink, and do you know why? well because – my children have lost a few stainless steel lunch containers (which are not cheap) this year that had named stickers on them and this would ensure this happening again, we love love crafty “stuff” and my children have used these glue guns at school and they rave on about how they would love one for me (as they know how much i love making gifts for family and friends and this would make my life so much easier if i had one), this year I am teaching myself woodworking so i can make wonderful items and for us and family and friends and this engraver would be wonderful so i can etch and engrave into my creations, and finally my child just threw a 45 minute tantrum tonight for mothers day (and so i deserve this awesome prize) 🙂
